7 Way Truck End to 4 Connector Plug Built in LED Tester
White - Ground
Black - 12 Volt AUX
Blue - Electric brakes
LArge Yellow- Back up lights, AUX
Part Number - F7KL
This auction is for one new 7 way to 4 flat connector with tester and Led lights ABS-black, car end, clam shell built right in. This thing is quick, trusting, and reliable. The wires have nice coating and the body comes in black finish.
Easy install, it just plugs into you existing 4 way plug, and has 3 extra wires included IF you want to use them. (Brake, Battery, and Back up light) and a extra ground wire.
What makes it NEAT is the built in LED test light feature. I hear it every day (an I hook up a LOT of trailers!) When your trailer lights dont work (Like THAT never happens!) The owner of the truck says "my lights worked last week when I towed my other trailer"
So we spend a hour checking trailer lights, looking a connections etc. only to find that that trailer he pulled last week BLEW the FUSE in his truck! Yes, you see, almost every late model truck on the road has SEPARATE fuses JUST for trailer circuits. What that means is all the truck lights work fine, but the trailer lights don't!
Guys, this plug takes out the guesswork. If the LED lights light up on this plug, you know it is not the truck!
Wire colors for this plug/adapter are as follows:
Wire connected to the 4 flat plug:
White - ground
Brown- marker
Green - Right Turn stop
Yellow- Left Turn Stop
