This basic electric drum brake kit allows you to add brakes to one 3500 lb trailer axle that already has a welded brake flange. It includes drums, backing plates, bearings, seals, hardware, and dust caps.

Commonly used when converting a trailer without brakes or when adding brakes to a second axle on a tandem conversion.

Compatible with most Dexter, AL KO, AXIS, Quality, and similar 3500 lb axles. A four hole brake flange must already be welded to the axle tube.

Complete brake hardware set including shoes, magnets, springs, and levers
Mounting hardware for backing plates including special 7 sixteenth inch nuts
(2) Inner grease seals – 10 19 size
(2) Inner bearings – L68149
(2) Outer bearings – L44649
(2) EZ Lube style dust caps
(10) Lug nuts – one half inch by twenty thread

Trailer must already have a welded brake flange

Not for 5200 lb, 6000 lb, or 7000 lb axles
Not for small 2000 lb or 2200 lb axles
