Dexter oil bath hub and drum assembly designed for common 6,000 lb, 7,000 lb, and select 8,000 lb trailer axles with an 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern. This kit includes the hub/drum with 1/2"-20 studs installed, inner and outer bearings, oil seal, threaded oil cap, O-ring, and rubber oil plug insert. Sold as one complete hub/drum assembly.
R&P Knowledge Hub
This is an oil bath configuration hub. Oil bath hubs use gear oil for lubrication rather than grease and require a threaded oil cap and proper oil level maintenance. Verify that your spindle uses the correct bearing combination before installation.
This kit uses outer bearing 14125A (1.25" I.D.) and inner bearing 25580 (1.75" I.D.). Always confirm spindle bearing numbers stamped on your existing bearings or reference your axle manufacturer specifications. Gear oil is not included.
