Dexter 10K Heavy Duty (HD) axles use a two-piece hub and drum system. The hub (008-214-05) mates with drum 009-027-01. This hub will not fit 10K General Duty (GD) axles.
Common identifiers for 10K HD systems include a drum marked “9-27,” 4" wide brake shoes, a 7-bolt brake flange, and oil caps marked “Dexter 21-36.” Always confirm axle type and components before ordering.
