Protective rubber caps designed for 1.98" Bearing Buddy hub grease protectors. These covers help contain excess grease that may escape during hub lubrication and prevent it from slinging onto trailer wheels and rims.

Many trailer wheel bearing protectors use a spring-loaded pressure system to maintain grease pressure inside the hub. If additional grease is added beyond the hub's capacity, the relief system allows excess grease to escape — often spinning onto trailer wheels. Bearing Buddy bras prevent this grease from spreading onto rims and trailer siding.
This listing includes two rubber Bearing Buddy protector bras designed specifically for the BB1980A-AA Bearing Buddy style hub protector.
These caps stretch over the face of the Bearing Buddy and act as a grease containment cover. If grease is pushed out during lubrication or from internal pressure changes while towing, the bra captures it before it reaches the trailer wheel.
Important: These caps are designed to fit the BB1980A-AA Bearing Buddy only. They will not fit other Bearing Buddy sizes.
