Replacement shock for Titan Model 20 surge brake actuators. Helps restore controlled actuator travel when the original damper is worn, leaking, damaged, seized, or no longer operating correctly. Important Note: Takes two per actuator.
This listing is for one replacement shock used with Titan Model 20 brake actuators. The actuator shock helps control the movement of the surge brake actuator as the trailer compresses and releases during braking. If the original shock is leaking, loose, bent, seized, or no longer controlling actuator motion properly, replacing it with the correct part can help restore smoother braking response.
Surge brake actuator parts should be matched carefully. Before ordering, compare the actuator model and the shock measurements against the part currently installed.
Compatibility: Fits Model 20 Titan brake actuators.
Vehicle / System Fit: Used in surge brake actuator assemblies on trailers equipped with compatible Titan Model 20 actuator hardware.
Installation Notes: Verify the actuator model, mounting hole sizes, and overall shock length before installation.
Performance Insight: A worn actuator shock can allow harsh coupler movement, inconsistent actuator travel, or rough braking feel.
Brand / Application Reference: Titan Model 20 brake actuator replacement shock.
Part Number: T0778400.
What This Listing Includes: One replacement shock only. This listing does not include the complete actuator, pins, bushings, master cylinder, brake lines, or mounting hardware unless otherwise shown separately.
Before Ordering: Compare your existing shock, actuator model, mounting hole dimensions, and overall length to confirm fitment.
When replacing an actuator shock, inspect the surrounding actuator hardware at the same time. A new shock may not correct the issue if the actuator has worn pins, damaged linkage, excessive play, or other mechanical problems.
Designed for use with Titan Model 20 brake actuators where the actuator model and measurements match.
Includes a 1/2" inner diameter small mounting hole and a 7/8" inner diameter large mounting hole.
Helps control actuator movement during surge brake operation for smoother compression and release.
Listing includes one replacement actuator shock. Important Note: two shocks are required per actuator.
