5-5/8" Short Trailer Suspension Equalizer for 1-3/4" Leaf Springs – 9/16" Holes
SKU: 13-104
This short trailer suspension equalizer is designed for tandem axle trailer suspension systems using 1-3/4" wide leaf springs. The equalizer connects the rear eye of the front spring to the front eye of the rear spring, allowing the suspension to balance load transfer between the two axles as the trailer travels over uneven surfaces. This style is commonly used on utility, cargo, and equipment trailers equipped with standard tandem leaf spring suspension systems.

R&P Knowledge Hub
A trailer suspension equalizer distributes load between the front and rear axle springs in a tandem axle system. As one axle encounters a bump or dip, the equalizer pivots to help maintain balanced weight transfer across both axles. Proper equalizer size is critical because it determines suspension geometry and ride height. When replacing an equalizer, installers should verify spring width, bolt hole diameter, and the center-to-center spacing between the lower mounting holes to match the original suspension layout.
