Hydraulic brake backing plate assembly designed for 15,000 lb trailer axles using 12.25" × 5" brake drums. This 7-bolt configuration fits the left-hand (driver side) position on compatible 15K axle applications.

Hydraulic drum brake assemblies use wheel cylinders to apply force to the brake shoes when pressurized fluid is delivered from the master cylinder. Duo-servo designs allow both shoes to contribute braking force under load conditions.
Forward self-adjusting mechanisms maintain proper shoe-to-drum clearance as lining material wears. Confirm brake diameter, brake width, bolt pattern, axle rating, and correct left or right orientation before installation.
