Dexter 8K Trailer Brake Drum – 8 on 6.5" – 5/8" Studs – Nev-R-Lube 50mm
Genuine Dexter 8,000 lb rated trailer brake drum designed specifically for Nev-R-Lube axle systems utilizing a 50mm sealed cartridge bearing. This assembly includes the bearing cartridge and retainer pre-installed for direct replacement on compatible Dexter 8K Nev-R-Lube axles.
Ideal for heavy-duty equipment trailers, goosenecks, flatbeds, and commercial applications where sealed cartridge bearing systems are used instead of traditional tapered bearing configurations.
R&P Knowledge Note – Nev-R-Lube Systems
Nev-R-Lube axles use a sealed 50mm cartridge bearing that presses into the hub/drum assembly. These systems eliminate periodic bearing packing and adjustment. This drum is NOT compatible with standard tapered bearing hubs (25580/02475 style setups). Always verify axle type before ordering.
