Complete set of two genuine Dexter 12.25" x 5" electric brake assemblies designed for12,000 to 15,000 lb heavy-duty trailer axles. This kit includes both the left-hand(driver side) and right-hand (passenger side) Nev-R-Adjust brake backing plates.

Electric brake assemblies operate through a brake controller that energizes the magnet inside the drum. As voltage is applied, the magnet engages the drum surface and forces the brake shoes outward to create stopping power.
Dexter’s Nev-R-Adjust system automatically maintains proper shoe-to-drum clearance during forward travel, eliminating the need for routine manual brake adjustments and helping maintain consistent braking performance over time.
