Boat Trailer Disc Brake Caliper / DB-35 Brake System
UFP / Dexter DB-35 Boat Trailer Disc Brake Caliper — Right Side — Zinc Plated
Right-hand replacement disc brake caliper for boat trailers equipped with UFP by Dexter DB-35 disc brake systems. Designed for DB35 hub and rotor assemblies, including current one-piece DB35 rotors. Important Note : Replacement for UFP (41050RU) DB-35
Part Number: 130-99-113 Right Hand DB-35 Caliper Zinc Plated / Boat Trailer Use
Overview
This UFP / Dexter DB-35 right-side disc brake caliper is a direct replacement solution for boat trailers using DB-35 hydraulic disc brake systems. The caliper installs on the right side of the trailer axle and works with DB35 hub and rotor assemblies, including current one-piece DB35 rotors. Its zinc plated finish helps resist corrosion in marine environments where trailers are regularly exposed to water, road spray, and launching conditions.
R&P Service Insight
Brake caliper side orientation matters. A right-hand caliper should be matched to the correct side of the axle and brake bracket layout so the brake hose routing, bleeder position, and pad contact are correct during installation.
-
Side Check: This listing is for the right-hand DB35 caliper.
-
Rotor Check: Designed for DB35 hub and rotor assemblies, including current one-piece DB35 rotors.
-
System Check: Verify that the trailer uses the UFP by Dexter DB-35 hydraulic disc brake system before ordering.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Compatibility: Designed for boat trailers equipped with UFP by Dexter DB-35 disc brake systems and DB35 hub / rotor assemblies.
Vehicle / System Fit: Commonly used on boat trailer hydraulic disc brake applications with DB-35 caliper and rotor configurations.
Installation Notes: Verify right-hand orientation, rotor type, mounting bracket compatibility, brake pad fitment, and hydraulic line routing before installation.
Performance Insight: Disc brake calipers apply hydraulic clamping pressure to the rotor. The caliper piston pushes the brake pads against the rotor surface, creating friction that slows the trailer. Marine brake components often use corrosion-resistant finishes because they are exposed to water and road contaminants.
Brand & Fitment Note
Selling Brand / System Reference: UFP / Dexter DB-35 disc brake system reference.
Application Reference: UFP, Dexter, and DB-35 names in this listing describe the brake system, compatibility target, and application style based on the provided part information.
What This Means: This listing is for a right-hand DB-35 replacement disc brake caliper for compatible UFP by Dexter DB-35 boat trailer disc brake applications.
Before Ordering: Verify the part number, brake system, rotor style, axle application, side orientation, and included components before installation.
R&P Repair Insight
A dragging, seized, leaking, or unevenly worn caliper can reduce braking performance and cause premature pad or rotor wear. When replacing one caliper, compare the opposite side and inspect the rotor, pads, hydraulic hoses, actuator function, and brake fluid condition.
-
Right vs. Left: Confirm this right-hand caliper matches the side being replaced.
-
Pad & Wire References: This listing includes pad set reference 31766UK and retaining wire reference 33006U.
-
Brake Bleeding: After installation, hydraulic disc brake systems should be properly bled and checked for leaks before towing.
