I use these stake pockets on the trailers I sell. they are made from 3/16" thick steel (7 Gauge),
formed into a U shape that a standard 2 x 4 will slide right into. Actual inside dimensions are 3.625 x 1.625. They are 3" tall, not tapered, and made from 7 gauge steel (3/16" thick) They weld onto the side of your truck flat bed or trailer.
