Wiring Connections

Important: The yellow wire must be connected to the breakaway system for the actuator to function during a breakaway event.

Breakaway System Requirement

This actuator requires a minimum 9 amp-hour (9Ah) breakaway battery to meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Operating Behavior

The actuator enters a low-power sleep mode when inactive. To re-activate the unit:

• Apply the trailer brakes using the in-cab brake controller (once or twice)
• OR disconnect and restore power to the actuator
