R&P Knowledge Hub
A spring seat (also called a spring perch) is welded to the axle tube and supports the trailer’s leaf spring. Proper placement and alignment are critical for correct axle tracking and tire wear.
Before welding, confirm axle tube diameter, spring width, and suspension configuration (underslung vs overslung) to ensure proper fitment.
IMPORTANT: Professional welding recommended. Verify axle tube diameter and spring width before installation.
