Complete set of two 7" x 1-3/4" hydraulic uni-servo brake backing plate assemblies for 2,000–2,500 lb trailer axles. Includes one left-hand (driver side) and one right-hand (passenger side) brake assembly.
Common replacement for boat, snowmobile, and light-duty utility trailers. Designed for hydraulic drum brake systems only. Cannot be used with electric brake systems.

Hydraulic backing plates are actuated by brake fluid pressure from a surge actuator or master cylinder. They are not compatible with electric brake controllers or electric drum brake systems.
Uni-servo hydraulic brakes are commonly used on 2,000–2,500 lb axles found on marine and powersport trailers. Brake assemblies are side-specific, so a complete axle requires both a left and right assembly — this kit provides both. Always confirm brake size (7" x 1-3/4"), axle capacity, and mounting flange configuration before ordering.
