UFP Disc Brake Banjo Bolt – 7/16-20 x 1" – Trailer Hydraulic Brake Caliper Bolt
Banjo bolt used in UFP trailer disc brake systems to secure the brake hose banjo fitting to the caliper while allowing hydraulic brake fluid to pass through the bolt. This bolt measures 7/16-20 thread with a 1 inch length and is commonly used on UFP trailer disc brake calipers.
The bolt is designed to be installed with copper sealing washers and a banjo hose fitting to create a sealed hydraulic connection between the brake hose and the caliper.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Banjo bolts are hollow bolts used in hydraulic systems that allow fluid to pass through the center of the bolt and into a perpendicular hose fitting. In trailer disc brake systems, the banjo fitting connects the brake hose to the caliper.
Copper sealing washers are installed on both sides of the banjo fitting. When the bolt is tightened, the washers compress to create a leak-free hydraulic seal.
This bolt is commonly used with copper washer 32230U and banjo fitting 32275U.
