This complete tandem-axle suspension rebuild kit is built around the EQ-R83 straight equalizer, a proven 8" double-eye equalizer used on thousands of medium-duty utility, cargo, equipment, and landscape trailers. The kit includes wet bolts, bronze bushings, 3.125" heavy-duty shackle straps, flange nuts, and hardware to refresh both equalizers and all leaf-spring eye connections. Designed for trailers with 1.75" double-eye leaf springs and standard 9/16" suspension hardware.
The R83 equalizer features a 3/4" center bolt hole and 9/16" side bolt holes, making it compatible with common Dexter, Lippert, and Rockwell hanger layouts. This kit is ideal when shackles are worn, bushings are elongated, or the suspension has excessive play.
