This listing is for one (1) Roadmaster RM-164 Hybrid Flexo-Coil power cord used to connect electrical systems between a motorhome and a towed vehicle. The cord features a vinyl-coated spring-coiled Flexo-Coil section with a straight hybrid section designed to route through tow bars with internal wiring channels.
The RM-164 expands to approximately 100 inches (just over 8 feet) during use and retracts when not under tension. Pre-wired 7-way and 6-way electrical plugs connect the motorhome and towed vehicle lighting systems.
This listing includes the power cord and electrical plugs only. Mounting brackets, sockets, or socket brackets are not included.

Motorhomes commonly use a 7-way trailer connector, while many towed vehicles use a 6-way socket. The Roadmaster RM-164 connects these two systems and allows lighting and braking signals to transfer between the motorhome and the towed vehicle.
Roadmaster hybrid cords combine a straight section and a Flexo-Coil spring section. The straight portion is designed to route through tow bars equipped with wiring channels, helping prevent the cord from dragging and maintaining a cleaner installation.
The coiled section stretches and retracts as the motorhome and towed vehicle move through turns or when drop hitches or extensions are used.
Electrical plug housings are injected with silicone sealant to help prevent moisture intrusion and corrosion while protecting internal wiring.
