The STC-RP Universal Spare Tire Mount is an R&P Carriages-built spare tire carrier for trailers using common 4 lug, 5 lug, 6 lug, and 8 lug wheel patterns. The wheel mounting plate is slotted to support multiple bolt patterns, making it a practical option for trailer owners with mixed trailer setups or common spare wheel configurations.
This mount is supplied as raw oily steel and should be cleaned and painted before use. It includes the tire carrier bracket, matching bracket / clamp plate, and two 1/2" stud bolts with nuts for wheel mounting. Bolts for mounting the bracket to the trailer frame are not included.
A spare tire mount only helps when the spare is secure, accessible, and matched to the wheel you actually carry. This carrier is built for practical trailer use where more than one common lug pattern may need to be supported.
Compatibility: Designed for common trailer spare wheel applications using 4 lug, 5 lug, 6 lug, or 8 lug wheels where measurements, bolt pattern, wheel depth, and clearance match.
Listed Bolt Patterns: 5x4.5", 5x4.75", 5x5.0", 5x5.5", 6x5.5", and 8x6.5". Also supports 4 lug applications where the wheel and mounting points match.
Frame Fit: Frame mount plate is made for trailer frames up to 5" tall and includes the matching bracket / clamp plate.
Important Limit: Not compatible with dually wheels or tire / wheel combinations over 5" deep.
Selling Brand: R&P Carriages
Application Reference: This listing is for a universal trailer spare tire mount intended for compatible trailer wheel and frame applications where the measurements, mounting location, and clearance match.
What This Means: This listing is for an R&P Carriages spare tire mount, not a vehicle-specific OEM spare tire carrier.
Before Ordering: Verify wheel bolt pattern, wheel depth, trailer frame height, mounting location, clearance, and included components before installation.
Before ordering, confirm the wheel bolt pattern, trailer frame height, mounting location, wheel depth, and available clearance. This carrier is flexible, but it still needs the correct mounting surface and wheel clearance for the trailer.
Slotted wheel mounting plate supports common 4 lug, 5 lug, 6 lug, and 8 lug trailer spare wheel applications where pattern and clearance match.
Wheel mounting plate is built with a heavy slotted design for the listed bolt pattern range.
Includes the matching bracket / clamp plate for compatible frame-mount applications up to 5" tall.
Supplied as raw oily steel so it can be cleaned, prepped, and painted before installation.
