Dexter Axle Spindle Alignment Clamp — TAD-CLAMP4

Part Number: TAD-CLAMP4

The TAD-CLAMP4 is a precision alignment tool designed to ensure perfect spindle alignment during axle-end replacement or rebuild work. This clamp helps hold the replacement spindle in the correct vertical and horizontal position while tack welding, enabling professional-grade accuracy on Dexter-style axle tubes from 7K through 15K capacities.

Specification Detail
Tool Type Spindle alignment clamp
Compatibility Dexter-style 7K–15K round axles
Material Machined steel components
Purpose Holds spindle square for tack welding & final alignment
Includes Clamp assembly only

Compatible with axle tubes on equipment, agricultural, fleet, and industrial trailers. This tool is frequently used by fabrication shops and professional welders to maintain precise toe and camber positioning during spindle replacement.

Applications

Ideal for aligning weld-on replacement spindles on:

  • 10K–15K equipment trailers
  • Commercial flatbeds
  • Industrial utility trailers
  • Farm and ag trailers
  • Fleet maintenance operations

Installation Notes

Position the clamp on the axle tube so the spindle is held firmly in place with correct vertical and horizontal alignment. Always verify toe and camber visually and with measuring tools before committing to tack welds. Once the spindle is aligned, apply two strong tack welds before removing the clamp for full 360° weld penetration.
