Overview
The TAD10KGD is designed ONLY for Dexter 10,000 lb General Duty axles. It is a weld-on solution used to repair axles where the original spindle has been damaged or worn. This spindle maintains proper hub support and braking geometry when installed according to Dexter dimensional standards.

Identification is everything. Dexter produced both "Long" and "Short" versions of the 10K GD spindle. They are not interchangeable.
- Critical Measurement: Measure from the bearing shoulder to the end of the threads. If it is 5.00", this is your spindle.
- Exclusivity: This will NOT fit Lippert, AL-KO, or other brands.
- Installation: Weld-on spindles require precise alignment to prevent premature tire wear and bearing failure.

- Removal: Cut the old spindle approximately 1" from the original weld.
- Alignment: Carefully align for correct camber and toe; tack weld and verify before final 360° weld.
- Reassembly: Always use new bearings, races, and seals when installing a new spindle.
