This premium Kodiak disc brake kit features a 13-inch integral hub/rotor designed for 8,000 lb. Dexter oil bath axles. It combines a corrosion-resistant Dacromet finish with a stainless steel caliper for ultimate stopping power and longevity in marine or heavy-duty environments.

Compatibility: Designed specifically for 8,000 lb. Dexter axles with #42 spindles. Fits standard 16" or larger dual or single wheels with an 8-on-6.5" bolt pattern.
Vehicle / System Fit: Ideal for heavy-duty flatbeds, equipment trailers, and large boat trailers utilizing oil-bath lubrication systems.
Installation Notes: Ensure your axle is rated for 8K and uses the 5-bolt brake flange. Requires a hydraulic surge actuator rated for disc brakes (1,500 PSI recommended) or an electric-over-hydraulic (EOH) unit.
Performance Insight: The vented integral rotor dissipates heat faster than standard drums, significantly reducing brake fade. The stainless steel caliper provides maximum rust protection for long-term reliability.
