*Please note that the top hole on the Equalizer is 3/4" ID

This kit comes with shoulder bolts that are machined to Dexter specifications for suspension tolerance. This allows the nuts to be tightened down to 20 ft lbs and maintain the 1/16" spacing per side of the spring (1/8" overall). By using these bolts, it takes the guess work out of tuning your suspension hardware. Be sure to press the head of the bolts into the shackles and hangers by hand, prior to tightening the nuts down.
