-
Measure First: Confirm the width and length of the area being covered before ordering.
-
Clean Surface: Remove dirt, grease, wax, and loose debris before installation.
-
Continuous Length: Multiple feet are supplied as one continuous uncut length when possible, up to approximately 150 ft.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Compatibility: Universal protective vinyl for compatible smooth, clean, dry surfaces where a 9" width and adhesive-backed installation are appropriate.
Vehicle / System Fit: Commonly used on trailer fenders, front rock guards, steps, truck bed rails, boat trailers, and exposed painted or plastic surfaces.
Installation Notes: Test fit before final application. Trim to length as needed and apply only after the surface has been fully cleaned and dried.
Performance Insight: The textured black surface helps provide a protective wear layer while also reducing the visual appearance of scratches, cracks, and cosmetic blemishes underneath.

R&P Repair Insight
Stone guard vinyl is often used both for protection and cosmetic repair. It can help cover worn or blemished areas, but adhesion and appearance depend heavily on surface condition and preparation.
-
Surface Condition: Do not apply over loose paint, flaking material, heavy rust, oil, grease, or wet surfaces.
-
Coverage Check: Confirm the 9" width will cover the intended area before ordering.
-
Quantity Check: Enter the number of feet required. For example, quantity 6 equals approximately 6 linear feet of material.
