UFP Disc Brake Banjo Copper Washer – Fits Most Calipers – Trailer Disc Brake System
Copper sealing washer used in UFP trailer disc brake banjo bolt connections. This washer seals the hydraulic brake fluid connection between the banjo bolt and the brake caliper fitting. Designed for use with common UFP disc brake systems and compatible with most trailer disc brake calipers.
This washer is typically installed on both sides of the banjo fitting to create a leak-free hydraulic seal when the banjo bolt is tightened.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Banjo fittings are commonly used in hydraulic brake systems because they allow brake fluid to flow through the bolt while the hose connection sits perpendicular to the caliper body. Copper washers are used on each side of the banjo fitting to create a compressible seal when the bolt is torqued.
Copper washers deform slightly when tightened, creating a fluid-tight seal. For proper installation, one washer is typically placed between the bolt head and the banjo fitting, and another between the banjo fitting and the caliper body.
This washer is commonly used with UFP banjo bolt 32307U and fitting 32275U.
