The BF-6-1 is a weld-on steel backing plate flange for compatible 12" x 2" trailer drum brakes. It uses the common round 5-bolt mounting pattern frequently found on 5,200 lb, 6,000 lb and 7,000 lb axle applications. It may be used when adding compatible brakes to an axle without mounting flanges or when replacing a damaged flange.
