1/2"-20 x 2" Press-In Trailer Wheel Stud – UFP Axle Replacement Stud
Part Number: 32498U
Replacement press-in wheel stud designed for many UFP trailer axle hubs. This stud features a 1/2"-20 thread with a 2 inch overall length and is commonly used on boat trailers equipped with UFP axles.
If the original wheel studs are rusted, broken, or removed during hub service, replacement studs can be installed provided the hub uses the same thread pitch and stud dimensions. Always verify the thread count and knurl diameter before installation.
R&P Knowledge Hub
UFP trailer axles are commonly found on boat trailers including brands such as EZ Loader and Ranger. These axles are often identifiable by their square axle tube design rather than a traditional round axle tube.
Press-in wheel studs install from the back side of the hub and are secured by pulling the knurled section into the hub flange. The knurl diameter must match the hub hole size to ensure the stud seats correctly and does not spin during lug nut installation.
Always verify thread pitch (1/2"-20), stud length, and knurl diameter before replacing wheel studs.
