Genuine Dexter 12-1/4" x 4" Heavy Duty electric brake assemblies with forward self-adjusting Nev-R-Adjust feature. This listing includes both left-hand and right-hand loaded backing plates for one complete axle.
Designed for use with 12-1/4" x 4" drums commonly marked “9-27” and 10,000 lb heavy-duty axle configurations. These are complete brake assemblies, pre-assembled and ready to mount to an existing 7-bolt brake flange.

12-1/4" x 4" HD electric brakes are not interchangeable with 12-1/4" x 3-3/8" General Duty brake systems. The 4" shoe width provides increased friction surface and heat capacity for 10K heavy-duty axles.
Nev-R-Adjust systems automatically maintain proper shoe-to-drum clearance during forward stops. As the shoes wear, the internal adjuster advances to compensate, reducing manual adjustment intervals and maintaining consistent braking performance.
