The A7418 Rear Spring Hanger Weldment is a heavy-duty, OEM-spec component used on 10,000 lb slipper-spring suspensions found on AL-KO, Hayes, Rockwell, and many Dexter-supported running gear systems. This hanger provides a precise 6-inch height from top plate to center of spring bolt, ensuring correct ride height, alignment, and geometry for 2.5-inch wide slipper springs. Ideal for suspension rebuilds, axle conversions, and fabrication of 10K tandem or tri-axle assemblies.

This component is built from thick steel plate for long-term durability and is compatible with OEM equalizers such as A8320 / A8319 / A8316 / A8315 when used with matching front hangers (A7416, A7417). Designed for weld-on installation.

Installation Notes

Verify existing ride height and axle spacing before removing old hangers. Grind frame rails clean, square, and level before welding. Position using OEM spacing or manufacturer drawings for your specific 10K running gear. Fully weld around all edges of the hanger bracket using certified welding techniques to maintain structural integrity.
