The Dexter K71-630-00 is a complete hydraulic disc brake caliper replacement kit specifically engineered for 8,000 lb capacity trailer axles. This heavy-duty kit provides all the necessary components to refresh or repair your 8K braking system, ensuring maximum stopping power and safety for high-capacity trailers.
This kit is the official Dexter solution for 8K axle disc brake maintenance. Unlike smaller 6K systems, the 8K setup requires specific high-strength mounting bolts and specialized brake line adapters included here. It is designed to replace the calipers on a single 8,000 lb axle.
Installation Tip: When installing the new brake lines and bleeder screws, ensure all fittings are seated correctly before bleeding the system. Using the included anti-rattle springs and retainer pins is critical for quiet operation and preventing premature pad wear.
