This genuine UFP (now Dexter) trailer hub kit is designed for 3,700 lb UFP trailer axles using a 5 on 4.5" wheel bolt pattern. The hub is zinc plated to help resist corrosion and is commonly used on boat trailers where exposure to water is frequent. This kit includes the hub along with the required bearings, grease seal, dust cap, and lug nuts for installation. The assembly is designed specifically for axles using the UFP 1.68" inner diameter grease seal.

R&P Knowledge Hub
Trailer hubs support the wheel and contain the bearings that allow the wheel to rotate smoothly on the axle spindle. Boat trailer hubs often use corrosion-resistant finishes because they are frequently submerged during launching. UFP axles commonly use a smaller 1.68" inner diameter grease seal, which differs from the more common 1.72" seal used on many standard 5-lug trailer axles. When replacing a hub, installers should confirm the seal size, bearing numbers, and bolt pattern to ensure compatibility with the axle spindle and wheel.
