Electric trailer brake systems use a magnet mounted to the actuating arm. When energized, the magnet contacts the drum face and initiates braking force.
The retaining clip holds the oval magnet securely in position.Improper or missing clips can allow magnet movement and cause uneven brake wear.Always verify magnet style (oval) and brake size (10" or 12") before ordering.
