Titan DICO Model 60 Brake Actuator – Drum – Multi-Fit Ball – Bolt-On – 7,000 lb – Zinc Plated
Part Number: 43397
Titan DICO Model 60 hydraulic surge brake actuator designed for drum brake trailer systems. This bolt-on style actuator fits over a 3" square tongue and features a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance. Rated for trailers up to 7,000 lb gross trailer weight.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Surge brake actuators operate hydraulically using trailer momentum. When the tow vehicle slows, the actuator compresses and pressurizes the master cylinder, sending brake fluid to the drum brake wheel cylinders.
Proper actuator selection requires confirming trailer weight rating, brake type (drum vs. disc), tongue size, and ball size compatibility. Always verify hydraulic line compatibility and coupler fit before installation.
