Heavy-duty Dexter air brake drum designed for 16-1/2 x 7-inch air brake systems using an inboard-mounted drum configuration. This drum features a 10-hole mounting pattern on an 11.25-inch bolt circle and is intended for compatible heavy-duty trailer wheel-end assemblies.
The inboard drum mounts on the inside of the hub assembly and provides the friction surface contacted by the brake shoes during braking. Correct replacement requires matching the existing brake dimensions, drum mounting configuration, pilot diameter and bolt pattern.
