This listing includes two weld-on brake backing plate mounting brackets used to add electric drum brakes to a trailer axle that does not already have brake flanges installed. These brackets are welded directly to the axle tube and provide the standard four-bolt square mounting pattern used by most modern trailer brake assemblies.
The included flanges are commonly used for 7" and 10" electric trailer brakes. These brake sizes are typically found on 2,000 lb and 3,500 lb trailer axle applications.
