2.44" EZ-Lube Trailer Hub Dust Cap with Rubber Plug
Part Number: DC-250L-RP
Replacement 2.44 inch drive-in trailer hub dust cap designed for many 5,000 lb to 7,000 lb trailer hubs. This style dust cap includes a removable rubber plug, allowing easy access to grease fittings on EZ-Lube or Easy-Lube spindle systems.
The drive-in cap protects wheel bearings from dirt, debris, and moisture while maintaining proper lubrication inside the hub assembly.

R and P Knowledge Hub
Dust caps are installed on the outer end of trailer hubs to protect wheel bearings and grease from contamination. The cap seals the hub cavity and prevents dirt, water, and road debris from entering the bearing assembly.
EZ-Lube style dust caps include a removable rubber plug that allows grease to be added through the spindle grease fitting without removing the cap. This simplifies routine maintenance on trailers equipped with EZ-Lube axles.
Before ordering, measure the inside diameter of the hub bore where the dust cap installs. The measurement for this cap is 2.44 inches, which is commonly used on 5K, 6K, and 7K trailer hubs.
