Torx head self-tapping deck screws designed for securing treated wood or Rumber flooring to trailer frames. These 1/4" diameter Type F flat head screws feature a self-tapping point that cuts its own threads into steel, making installation fast and efficient.
Many trailer builders have transitioned from CCA treated wood to ACQ (Alkaline Copper Quaternary) treated lumber, which can be more corrosive. These screws feature an approved plating material designed for use with treated wood, including ACQ. According to third-party testing, the coating provides up to 1000 hours of salt spray protection when used with ACQ treated lumber.
