Lippert 7,000 lb Trailer Axle Beam Kit 93" Hub Face Straight 3" Tube with Loose Spring Perches
A 7,000 lb bare trailer axle beam kit with 93" hub face, straight cambered 3" tube, EZ-Lube-style spindle configuration, and two loose 3" spring perches for final spring-center setup.
Overview
This 7000-93-3-KIT is a bare 7,000 lb trailer axle beam kit for trailer and camper axle replacement projects where the 93" hub face, 3" tube, brake flange spacing, spindle dimensions, and spring-center setup match the trailer. This kit includes the axle beam and two loose spring perches for 3" axle tubes.
R&P Service Insight
Axle beam replacement must be matched by measurement, not by axle rating alone. Hub face, brake flange spacing, spindle configuration, tube size, and spring center all need to be confirmed before installation.
- Hub Face: This axle beam is listed as a 93" hub face axle.
- Tube Size: Standard 3" axle tube for this kit.
- Perches: Spring perches are included loose and must be welded before road use.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Compatibility: Common replacement context for trailers or campers that use 7,000 lb running gear, 3" tube, 12" brake setups, and 6-lug or 8-lug hub/drum configurations where all measurements match.
Vehicle / System Fit: Trailer axle beam replacement for compatible leaf-spring trailer suspensions.
Installation Notes: Verify hub face, brake flange spacing, spring center, spindle/bearing configuration, camber orientation, and perch welding requirements before installation.
Performance Insight: A cambered axle must be installed with the arch facing upward at the center of the axle when mounted under the trailer.
Brand & Fitment Note
Selling Brand: R&P Carriages curated axle kit.
Included Axle Beam: Lippert 7,000 lb bare axle beam, 93" hub face, straight, EZ-Lube-style configuration, USA made.
What This Means: This listing is for the complete kit shown in the included components table: one axle beam and two loose spring perches.
Before Ordering: Confirm measurements, brake/hub compatibility, bearing and seal requirements, spring center, and whether perch welding is needed before shipment.
R&P Repair Insight
This is a bare beam kit. Hubs, drums, bearings, seals, brakes, U-bolts, nuts, and suspension hardware are not included unless separately stated in the order.
- Bearing Check: Common 7,000 lb setups use 1.25" inner diameter outer bearings, 1.75" inner diameter inner bearings, and 2.25" seals; some older trailers may use 2.125" seals.
- Brake Check: Match the axle to the trailer’s brake size, brake flange setup, and hub/drum configuration before installing.
- Spring Center Check: Loose perches allow final spring-center positioning, but they must be measured and welded before the axle is placed into service.

Spring Perches Are Included Loose
This -KIT includes the axle beam and loose spring perches. The spring perches are included as separate pieces. Included does not mean welded.
Spring perches ship loose by default. They are not welded to the axle tube before shipment unless the customer specifically requests perch welding in the order notes, provides the correct Spring Center measurement, and R&P confirms the weld-on request before the axle ships.
How to Find Your Spring Center Measurement
Spring Center is the distance from the center of one leaf spring to the center of the opposite leaf spring. This is the measurement used to locate where the spring perches need to be welded on the axle tube.
- Best method with old axle: Measure from the center of one existing spring perch to the center of the opposite spring perch.
- Best method from the trailer: Measure from the centerline of the left leaf spring pack to the centerline of the right leaf spring pack where the axle sits.
- Center bolt method: Measure from the center of one leaf spring center bolt / locating pin to the center of the opposite spring center bolt / locating pin.
- Do not measure outside-to-outside. Spring Center is a center-to-center measurement.
- Do not guess from deck width. Deck width is only context and does not replace the actual Spring Center measurement.
Axle Measurement Diagram
Use this diagram as a visual reference while confirming axle dimensions. Spring Center must still be measured center-to-center at the trailer’s leaf springs or existing spring perches.
