Replacement brake drum for Dexter 10,000 lb and 13D heavy-duty axle systems using 12-1/4" x 4" brake assemblies. This listing includes the drum only and is designed for two-piece hub and drum configurations.
Unlike most 7K and lighter-duty one-piece hub/drum assemblies, many 10K heavy-duty systems use a serviceable two-piece design. This allows replacement of the worn drum without replacing the entire hub assembly.
R&P Knowledge Hub
10K heavy-duty Dexter hub systems often separate the drum from the hub casting. This design reduces service cost by allowing the drum to be replaced independently when braking surfaces are worn.
12-1/4" x 4" brake drums are not interchangeable with 12-1/4" x 3-3/8" general-duty systems. Always confirm brake shoe width, axle rating, and bolt pattern before ordering.
