9K and 10K General Duty Backing Plate Hardware Kit
This hardware kit provides the correct fasteners for mounting 9K and 10K General Duty brake backing plates to the axle brake flange. Each kit contains the proper bolt, lock washer, and hex nut used for secure backing plate installation.
A standard 4-bolt brake backing plate requires four kits for complete installation.
Compatible with 12.25 x 3.375 inch 10K General Duty brake assemblies. This hardware kit does not fit Heavy Duty brake assemblies.

Trailer brake backing plates mount directly to the axle brake flange using high-strength hardware designed to withstand vibration and braking forces. Proper mounting hardware ensures the brake assembly remains secure and aligned with the hub and drum.
General Duty 10K brake assemblies typically use a 4 bolt flange mounting pattern. Each bolt must be tightened evenly to ensure the brake backing plate sits flush against the axle flange.
Always verify whether your brake assembly is General Duty (GD) or Heavy Duty (HD) before ordering hardware, as these systems use different mounting bolt sizes and specifications.
