Install Your Own Brake Controller – Hard Wire Kit
Universal Vehicle Hardwire Kit
Complete hard-wire installation kit for installing a trailer brake controller in a tow vehicle. Includes wiring, connectors, mounting hardware, breaker, and 7-way components required for universal installations.
Brake controller is NOT included. This kit is not vehicle-specific and requires knowledge of automotive wiring.
R&P Knowledge Hub
Hard-wiring a brake controller involves routing a dedicated brake signal wire to the rear of the vehicle, providing 12V power protection through a circuit breaker, and ensuring a proper ground connection.
Always confirm wiring diagrams for your vehicle before installation. Improper connections can damage electrical systems or brake components.
