R&P Knowledge Hub

Brake flanges are welded directly to the axle tube and serve as the mounting surface for electric or hydraulic brake backing plates. The 2.53" pilot centers the brake assembly while the 4.62" square bolt pattern secures it in place.

Proper alignment during welding is critical. Confirm axle rating, brake size compatibility, bolt pattern, pilot diameter, and square dimensions before installation. Incorrect flange selection can result in improper brake alignment and premature wear.

IMPORTANT: Confirm axle rating, pilot size, square pattern, and hole diameter before welding. Professional installation recommended.
