Designed for servicing and maintaining 4,200 lb and 5,200 lb trailer axles with a 2.328" outer hub bore, the K71-029-00 Vault Hybrid Lubrication Service Kit provides everything needed to restore and protect sealed boat and utility trailer wheel bearings. This comprehensive kit features two Vault stainless steel cap assemblies, replacement cap O-rings, threadlocker, a specialized installation tool, a zerk fitting, and a tube of proprietary Vault hybrid lubricant. Unlike traditional bearing grease, the included semi-fluid lube liquefies under operating heat to provide fluid-bath lubrication while driving, returning to a solid state when cooled to guard against leaks. Coupled with a spring-loaded pressure-maintaining cap design that seals out salt, water, and contaminants during submersion, this kit delivers a factory-grade seal repair to ensure long-term, low-maintenance axle reliability.
