R&P Knowledge Hub
Dexter Nev-R-Adjust electric brake assemblies automatically maintaincorrect shoe-to-drum clearance as brake linings wear.
During forward travel, the internal adjuster mechanism advances whenclearance exceeds tolerance. This keeps the brake shoes properly positionedwithout manual star wheel adjustment.
12" x 2" assemblies are commonly used on 6,000 lb trailer axles.Always verify:
- Brake size (12" x 2")
- Axle rating (6K)
- 5-bolt flange configuration
- Correct left/right orientation
