Black Nitride Shaft Gas Spring Strut

Black nitride shaft gas spring struts are used to provide controlled lift and support for hatches, lids, access panels, and covers. These gas springs are commonly found on trailers, RVs, campers, and utility enclosures where consistent force and corrosion resistance are required.
The nitride-coated steel shaft improves surface hardness and resistance to corrosion compared to standard polished shafts. This series is commonly used as a direct replacement for SPD and other compatible gas spring models when dimensions and force ratings match.
