The LEF-A is a replacement ball socket end fitting used on compatible LaVanture / SPD gas springs. It is the EF-PS30B1 style fitting designed for a 10mm ball stud with an M6 x 1.00 threaded connection.

If the gas spring still provides the correct lifting force but the end socket is cracked, worn or no longer stays securely attached to the ball stud, replacing the end fitting may solve the problem without replacing the complete spring.

- If the gas spring has lost pressure, replace the complete gas spring instead.
