Idler Hub Kit – 6000 lb – 6 x 5.5 – Dexter – 1/2" Stud – Cupped & Studded
Idler hub kit for 6,000 lb trailer axles with 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern. Dexter-compatible idler hub, cupped and studded with 1/2" diameter wheel studs (1" stud length). Includes hub (008-213-09), 15123 outer bearing (1.25" I.D.), 25580 inner bearing (1.75" I.D.), 10-36 and 10-10 grease seals, and DC-250 2.44" dust cap with rubber plug. This kit services one wheel position.
R&P Knowledge Hub
This hub is commonly used on 6,000 lb straight spindles that use a 1.25" outer journal and 1.75" inner journal (15123 / 25580 bearing combination). It is an idler hub only and does not contain brake mounting surfaces for electric or hydraulic drum brakes.
Two seal options are included because 6K axles may use different seal journal diameters. The 10-36 seal (2.25" I.D. x 3.376" O.D.) fits a 2.25" seal surface. The 10-10 seal (2.125" I.D. x 3.376" O.D.) fits a 2.125" seal surface. Measure the spindle seal land before installation.
“Cupped & Studded” means bearing races are pre-installed in the hub and wheel studs are factory-installed. Spindle washer, castle nut, cotter pin, and wheel are not included.
