Jammy J-TMK Trailer Breakaway Kit – Jack Mount with Switch & 5 AH Battery
Part Number: J-TMK
This trailer breakaway kit is designed to activate electric trailer brakes if the trailer becomes disconnected from the tow vehicle. The kit includes a breakaway switch, sealed battery, and plastic battery box with an attached zinc mounting bracket designed for jack mounting.
Breakaway systems are required on most trailers equipped with electric brakes and provide an emergency braking signal to stop the trailer if separation occurs.

Trailer breakaway systems use an onboard battery to supply power directly to the electric brake magnets if the trailer disconnects from the tow vehicle. When the breakaway cable is pulled, the switch closes and applies full brake power to the trailer brakes.
