Complete pair of genuine Dexter 12" x 2" electric trailer brake backing plate assemblies for 7,000 lb axles. Includes one left-hand (driver side) and one right-hand (passenger side) brake assembly. Designed for standard 5-bolt mounting flanges and compatible with common hub-and-drum assemblies used on 14-1/2", 15", 16", and 16-1/2" wheels.

Electric brake backing plates integrate the shoes, springs, magnet,
and actuating arm into a pre-assembled unit that bolts directly to the axle flange.
When voltage is applied from a brake controller, the magnet contacts the rotating drum,
causing the shoes to expand against the braking surface.
Brake assemblies are side-specific and must be installed on the correct left and right positions.
Confirm axle rating, brake size (12" x 2"), flange bolt count, and drum compatibility before ordering.
