Complete left and right-hand 12-1/4" x 3-1/2" electric brake assemblies with cast backing plates and 5-bolt mounting pattern. All brake components are pre-assembled on the backing plate for direct replacement.
This assembly is commonly found on trailers equipped with imported or Rockwell-style axles and is not interchangeable with standard Dexter brake systems.

12-1/4" x 3-1/2" brake assemblies differ from 12-1/4" x 3-3/8" and 12-1/4" x 4" configurations. Shoe width and mounting bolt pattern must match the axle flange exactly.
These 5-bolt cast backing plates are typically used on imported axle configurations and are not used on Dexter axles. Always verify brake size, bolt count, and flange spacing before ordering.
